Nixon (37) Plus Carter (39) Equals Obama (44)
Many have an opinion about our current President that, unfortunately, is only shaped by pure political team identity or information provided by what the corporate media outlets allow one to become exposed to.
The more one adds up the facts about how this 44th Presidency of Barack Obama conducts itself, one discovers an executive branch that combines the worst elements that have characterized two of the most ineffective and dangerous presidencies of the 20th century.
The latest information to come out through a "Freedom of Information Act" request by the investigative journalist website, the Daily Caller, to review communications from the legal trust-holders that occupy the Department of Justice. What they were able to establish is a direct propaganda based news publishing information link with a not for profit, politically slanted, agitation and propaganda machine funded by George Soros.

Emails reveal Justice Dept. regularly enlists Media Matters to spin press
By Matthew Boyle - Published: 12:56 AM 09/18/2012
Internal Department of Justice emails obtained by The Daily Caller show Attorney General Eric Holder’s communications staff has collaborated with the left-wing advocacy group Media Matters for America in an attempt to quell news stories about scandals plaguing Holder and America’s top law enforcement agency.
Dozens of pages of emails between DOJ Office of Public Affairs Director Tracy Schmaler and Media Matters staffers show Schmaler, Holder’s top press defender, working with Media Matters to attack reporters covering DOJ scandals.
----
Emails sent in September and November 2010 show Schmaler working with Media Matters staffer Jeremy Holden on attacking news coverage of the New Black Panther Party voter intimidation scandal.
Holden attacked former DOJ Civil Rights Division attorneys J. Christian Adams and Hans von Spakovsky on Sept. 20, 2010 for what he called an attempt “to reignite the phony New Black Panther Party scandal.”
Before Holden posted his article at 7:52 p.m., Schmaler sent him several emails with information helping him attack both former DOJ oficials.
“Here’s one Wolf letter,” read the subject of one email Schmaler sent Holden that contained no text. The email was likely a reference to Virginia Republican Rep. Frank Wolf, a member of Congress who led the Republican charge on the New Black Panther Party scandal involving alleged voter intimidation at a November 2008 polling place in Philadelphia.
In response, Holden told Schmaler that “The response to interog 38 is particularly helpful. Thanks!”
----
Breitbart News editor Joel Pollak told The Daily Caller that he thinks Attorney General Eric Holder should resign over, among other things, the Department of Justice’s collusion with left-wing advocacy group Media Matters to discredit him.
Emails TheDC obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request and published Tuesday show DOJ Office of Public Affairs director Tracy Schmaler, Holder’s top press defender, and Media Matters staffers working together to attack reporters covering DOJ scandals.
“On the one hand, it’s a badge of honor,” Pollak said of being one of the targets of the collusion. “The cool conservatives make the Obama administration’s enemies list. On the other hand, it is shocking.”
“I was surprised enough when I witnessed the same thing happening in a democratic South Africa,” Pollak added, referencing a column he wrote for Breitbart.com on how he was accused by the South African government of being an Israeli Mossad spy for criticizing the country’s policies toward Israel when he lived there. “It is shocking to see such thuggery here at home.”
“Holder should resign over this alone,” Pollak said.

An Executive Branch "administration's enemies list" was something that had only surfaced, and was proven to be carried out during the Nixon Administration. "Tricky Dick" Nixon was extremely secretive and insatiable about control over what messages were released or printed about the administration from the media.
Richard Nixon was forced to resign as president through the cover up of circumstances surrounding the knowledge of a break in of Democrat political party business offices at the Watergate hotel and business complex in order to get strategy information for an upcoming election. The election went forward, Richard Nixon was re-elected, but the information about the Watergate break in led back to the oval office and soon a resignation was in order or an impeachment process would have been pursued.
It's these fear and manipulation factors that characterized the Nixon years that are finding their way into coloring the nature of the 44th Presidency of Barack Obama.
Additional similarities to the Nixon Administration are coming to light through the "Fast and Furious" gun running operation put in place by the DoJ to try and develop information on which this administration could make a case to limit 2nd Amendment rights.
House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell
Issa, R-Calif., who along with Sen. Charles Grassley led the charge on
Capitol Hill to investigate the [Fast and Furious] operation, said Wednesday that the
report "confirms" congressional findings "of a near total disregard for
public safety" in the program.
"Contrary to the denials of the Attorney General and his political
defenders in Congress, the investigation found that information in
wiretap applications approved by senior Justice Department officials in
Washington did contain red flags showing reckless tactics and faults
Attorney General Eric Holder's inner circle for their conduct," he
said.
In an interview with Bret Baier on 'Special Report' Wednesday, and reaffirmed in an interview on Fox and Friends this morning, Issa
said that the report was good overall, but questions remain about a
cover-up [by people inside Eric Holder's DoJ and the Obama Administration].
Here, at Carter's Second Term and Politisite, we have already covered the similarities that the 44th Presidency has many of the hallmarks of economic failure and inept international leadership through policies that just do not work as they are intended to work.

Barack Obama's Pursuit Of Carter's Second Term Is In Full Effect
By Edmund Jenks - Published 9/12/12 8:22 AM
Outside of a really, really bad economy (two credit service downgrades and an additional 6 trillion dollars of debt in only 4 years) and inept public sector leadership (44 months of over 8% unemployment with a net -350,000 jobs created since taking office), the one thing that the 39th Presidency of Jimmy Carter principally known for is direct attacks by Islamist mobs against American embassies in the Middle East.
Today, Americans are waking up with news on Google, cable, TV, and what few newspapers folks read anymore, to the news that U.S. Embassies in Cairo, Egypt and Benghazi, Libya were over run by mobs and a U.S. Ambassador to Libya John Christopher Stevens and three other American diplomats have been killed Tuesday in the assaults.
No official comment has come from the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama. U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton condemned the attack “in the strongest terms.” She said she had called Libyan President Mohamed Yusuf al-Magariaf “to coordinate additional support to protect Americans in Libya.”
So this is where our "Lead From Behind" foreign policy has led us and it is time for an immediate change. Clint Eastwood said it best at the Republican National Convention held in Tampa, Florida a couple of weeks ago when he spoke into the microphone these words - "Whether you are a Democrat or Republican or whether you're libertarian or whatever, you are the best. And we should not ever forget that. And when somebody does not do the job, we got to let them go."

When one adds all of this, and more, up ... 37 + 39 = 44 ... one comes away with a clearer picture of what is going on than what a pure mathematical answer can provide.
We, at Carter's Second Term, simply call this OBAMAth!

Paul Ryan's Path To Solvency
Now, there are certainly different types of goals: long-term, short-term, financial, physical, personal, family, educational, artistic, religious, health, etc. A country without a budget/goal is like a ship without a rudder. Image Credit: Weider FitnessPaul Ryan's Path To Solvency
Today, the American Enterprise Institute has released a plan put forth by Wisconsin Congressman, Paul Ryan, by which our country could become prosperous and solvent through making the economic purpose of our federal government be right-sized and focused on its key reasons for existence.
This plan was issued as a response to the expansion of federal government in everyday life (through both the 43rd Presidency of George Bush and doubled-down upon during the 44th Presidency of Barack Obama) ... and most recently, the latest budget released last month by the Obama Administration.
Forget the fact that our Democrat Political Party controlled Senate, run by Nevada Senator Harry Reid, which has the responsibility to draft, pass and implement a budget, has seen fit to not pass or operate from a formal budget in over 1,000 days (blowing the lid off of spending controls). Basically, this abandonment of responsibility and public trust leaves our ship of state operating without a rudder.
So, what is the best path forward?

Paul Ryan’s new budget offers a path to prosperity and solvency
By James Pethokoukis - AEI - March 20, 2012, 10:00 am
Barack Obama doesn’t have a long-term, debt-reduction plan. Paul Ryan does. So under the Geithner formulation, Ryan wins by default.
But the latest version of Ryan’s Path to Prosperity, released today, does far more than defeat a rival who’s decided to forfeit the field. It presents a bold and sweeping solution to America’s twin problems: too much debt and too little economic growth.
– By 2022, under the Ryan Path, debt as a share of GDP would be 62.3% vs. a projected 73.2% in 2012. Under the Obama budget debt as a share of GDP would be 76.3% in 2022, according to the Congressional Budget Office. Over that period, the Ryan Path would spend $5.3 trillion less than the Obama budget by, in large part, axing Obamacare and block-granting welfare programs — including Medicaid — to the states.
– Longer term, the differences between the Ryan Path and the Obama budget are even starker. By 2030, debt-to-GDP would be 53% under Ryan, 128% under Obama. By 2040, debt-to-GDP would be 38% under Ryan, 194% under Obama. By 2050, debt-to-GDP would be 10% under Ryan, over 200% under Obama – assuming that under the Obama scenario, the economy hasn’t collapsed.
How does Ryan do it? Medicare reform is at the heart of the Path to Prosperity. Where Obamacare relies on unelected bureaucrats to keep costs down, the Ryan path uses competition. Under Ryan’s revised “premium support” plan – essentially the Wyden-Ryan proposal — seniors beginning in 2023 could use their Medicare dollars to choose from a menu of private plans, along with Medicare’s traditional fee-for-service system. Every year there would be a competitive bidding process among all plans to determine the dollar amount of the federal contribution that seniors would use to purchase coverage. (The benefits in the private plans would have to be as least as good as Medicare.) The second least-expensive approved plan or Medicare, whichever is least expensive, would establish the benchmark that determines the premium support amount.
Seniors who prefer pricier plans would have to pay the difference between the premium subsidy and the monthly premium. Seniors who choose a less expensive plan could pocket the difference. As a backup — and so CBO could score the plan — per capita costs could not exceed nominal GDP growth plus 0.5%.
The Ryan Path reforms the tax code by creating a two-rate system — 25% and 10% — for individuals, while lowering the corporate rate to 25% and moving to a territorial system. Now because of CBO budget rules, the Ryan Path assumes tax reform doesn’t boost growth, though it almost assuredly would. So when you factor in faster growth, Ryan’s budget numbers look even better. By contrast, Obama would take the top income tax and dividend tax rates to 45%, capital gains to 24%. Talk about austerity.
The Ryan Path isn’t perfect. It takes a pass on Social Security reform and fails to specify what tax breaks would be scaled back or eliminated. But even with those flaws, the Ryan Path presents a vivid contrast with the Obama budget. One leads to prosperity and solvency, the other leads to a debt crisis — with the likely response being massive tax increases and healthcare rationing by Washington – and decline.
As Ryan puts it: ”The choice of two futures presented in this budget is premised on the wisdom of the American people to build a prosperous future for themselves and for generations of Americans to come.

It is time to think about the economic future of our country and recognize the serious consequence of continuing along the path our leaders insist on taking our country over these last 11 plus years. Our country demands economic direction through strong leadership and a change to a federal government that is right-sized and focused on results versus intention in its outsized foreign-financed debt/spending agenda experienced here during the 44th Presidency of Barack Obama ... The Bankruptcy Beat Goes On In A Bad Obama Economy
Image Credit: citytowninfo.comThe Bankruptcy Beat Goes On In A Bad Obama Economy
All of the government "stimulus" and government spending in the world can not repair a free market economy.
The number of Americans filing for bankruptcy in 2010 ticked up 9% over the previous year to more than 1.53 million, industry groups said Monday.
The number of consumers filing for bankruptcy has increased each year since 2005, when bankruptcy laws were revamped to make bankruptcy more difficult, according to the American Bankruptcy Institute and the National Bankruptcy Research Center.
This 2010 figure of reported bankruptcies far outpaces the 1,407,788 total consumer filings that were recorded during 2009, a trend that the American Bankruptcy Institute attributes to high debt and a stagnant economy.
"The steady climb of consumer filings notwithstanding the 2005 bankruptcy law restrictions demonstrate that families continue to turn to bankruptcy as a result of high debt burdens and stagnant income growth," ABI Executive Director Samuel Gerdano said in a statement. "We expect that consumer filings will continue to rise in 2011."
With a total of 118,146 bankruptcy filings, December 2010 was a particularly bad month for consumers, an increase of 3% over November's level.
(ht: CNNMoney)
The Obama administration combined with entrenched ruling class politicians that have run Washington federal politics over these last several decades is finally coming to roost here in 2011 as the national debt exceeds 14 Trillion dollars.
using a total population of 333,000,000 (333 Million - 1/3 of a Billion) for ease of mathematics ... a Trillion dollars is 1,000 Billion dollars, and a Billion dollars is equal to a contribution of $3.00 for each and every person wither the person is 9 months, or 90 years old. Using this base of logic, each and every human being in the United States owes the federal government over $42,000 in order to wipe out the current level of debt.
The debt is growing at over 4 Billion dollars a day or by the end of today YOU will have to add another $12.00 to the $42,000 that you and everyone else owes to wipe out the debt our representatives are piling onto us at this moment.
Bankruptcy is a default against a personal debt and everyone owed looses their time and money they invested in meeting the wants and needs of the person who is declaring bankruptcy. The federal debt is still owed to everyone ... and by everyone else.
Translate this to California's debt of 28 Billion dollars the math does not get any better. At an estimated population of 37 million as of July 2009 which will translate to $27.03 for every Billion dollars of debt. Using this logic - each and every Californian is in debt $27.03 for every Billion dollars X 28 Billion = $756.76.
